Feelings of GratitudeOriginally published by: www.dandavats.comOriginal article: Feelings of Gratitude-Letters to the Prison MinistryEdited: Minor editing (a comma here, an emdash there ...)Date: 1 year 16 weeks agoWe receive over 300-400 letters per month writing us for inspiration and materials to be sent into the prisons. It is a very enlivening service and we appreciate the opportunity to serve and connect with these souls.
We have recently received a letter from a Christian chaplain, asking us to send books into the Santo Rosa Prison in Milton, Florida. He says that he was given our name and address from one inmate there and they would be happy to receive a gift of books to help inmates who are interested in such topics. We are sending books next week. Many people are appreciating our books. So we continue to seek ways of getting more books into prisons. Srila Prabhupada: "That will be sufficient for your preaching work if you simply reproduce verbatim the purports which I have given in the Srimad-Bhagavatam and chant Hare Krishna with ecstasy. As you do it seriously and sincerely, Krishna gives you more and more strength for this noble missionary work." en/View Group categoriesPreaching in Prisons
